We offer trips throughout the year, with our main summer season running from May to mid-September. From October to late January you find us also in Alta and Skjervøy.

Frequently asked questions
Can I bring my camera?
Yes! Just make sure to cover it while driving to protect it from splashes.
What clothes should I wear?
Warm base layers and a windproof jacket. Good shoes, gloves and a hat are recommended year-round.
With "Waiting list" - Am I guaranteed a place?
No. If anyone cancel, then you will be contacted and often it is on very short notice!
What if we don't see whales?
For Andenes you will receive a free trip on the next available tour or on your next visit. Ask at the reception after the trip.
What if I have a medical condition?
Please inform us or ask us directly before booking your trip.
What is the minimum age?
• In Andenes: 8 years for RIB boats. No age limit on the large boat. • In Skjervøy: 8 years. 15 years for snorkeling, accompanied by an adult.
When is it best to see the whales?
In Andenes we see whales all year. Further north in Skjervøy and Alta, we only go Oct-Jan.
The Whale
The Whale opens in June 2027
The Whale is a new knowledge and experience centre in Andenes, Northern Norway, opening to the public on 4 June 2027. Through science, art, storytelling, sound and architecture, you can explore whales and the oceans they inhabit. The Whale brings together knowledge, art and nature to create something entirely new, set in one of the world’s best locations for year-round whale encounters.
